The Nelson Saucer Bubble Pendant's wide surface area diffuses soft light into any interior. Nelson was inspired by a set of silk-covered Swedish hanging lamps that he wanted to acquire for his office, but he found the price to be prohibitive. An ingenious and resourceful designer, he went on to create the first set of Bubble Lamps using a translucent white plastic spray. Nelson drew from elemental, organic shapes in making variations including sconces, table lamps and floor lamps. Pendants include a brushed, nickel-plated steel ceiling plate measuring 5.25" and a 6-foot cord, except for the extra large size, which includes a 9-foot cord. Product is UL-listed and rated for bulbs up to 150 watts, except for the small Saucer, which is rated for a 600 watt bulb. Bulb is not included.
